I thought our relationship was travelling along ok, but then she/he left me. What happened!?

“I knew we had some problems, but they weren’t that bad. We could have worked them out. But now she/he’s gone and (maybe) it’s too late. I don’t know what went wrong and I don’t know what to do now.”

It is a fact of separations that one person usually knows long before the other that the relationship is coming to an end. Often the time wasn’t “right” for that conversation, or the person thinking of leaving just wasn’t sure about or ignored how they felt. Whatever the case, their well-prepared departure can leave feelings of confusion, devastation and desolation in the person left behind. It just doesn’t seem fair.

  • You never even saw it coming… you are still in shock…
  • You saw the signs, but you ignored them…
  • You had some of the same thoughts yourself, but you weren’t ready to give up…
  • This is might be the right thing, really, but you are not really sure what you want any more…

Relationship coaching and counselling provides individuals with a safe, structured environment, and a professional and non-judgemental therapist and coach to overcome these and other challenges in the aftermath of a separation.
